How to Get New Exotic Armor Destiny 2
The third tab in the Focused Decoding tile allows one to access Destiny 2 New Exotic armor at the Cryptarch. Reaching peak Cryptarch rank—rank 17— unlocks this third tab. This implies you will have to level Master Rahool all the way to 16 and then fill that bar to unlock an extra tab on his engram-focusing tile called Novel Decryption.
Unlocking a Destiny 2 new Exotic armor piece after you have Novel Decryption will cost one Exotic Engram and one Exotic Cipher. Once you have the armor component, it will be put into your Collection and thereafter obtained at random via decryption of exotic engrams.
Slightly related, Legend & Master Lost Sectors no longer provide a set Destiny 2 Exotic armor piece for a certain slot on a daily rotation. Rather, you will just get an exotic engram that you may decode (or concentrate) at Master Rahool. If you have to level him, this is helpful, yet, it also means that the action is now less worth. You can buy Destiny 2 items directly. Though it still ensures an Exotic, even the Vex Incursion Zone does not appear to drop the new Exotic instantly. The only chest piece I’m lacking is Mataiodoxia; the activity didn’t drop it for me!

All The Final Shape Exotic armors in Destiny 2
Six more Destiny 2 exotic armor components were included with The Final Shape DLC, as we previously said. These follow:

Master Rahool at Tower has The Final Shape Destiny 2 Exotic armor components available for decryption from Exotic Engrams. Using some of the Exotic Engrams—which are focusable—you can get the Exotic armaments described above.
To do this, however, you must achieve Rank 16 with Master Rahool, utilize the “Reset Rank” Faction reward to reset your rank and acquire the Exotic Cipher, therefore granting access to Tier 3 Exotic focusing.
You can get The Final Shape Destiny 2 Exotic armors straight from Rahool utilizing the Tier 3 Exotic focusing, therefore avoiding the need to gamble with RNG.
